Dr. Basarab, a Registered Periodontist, is a specialist in all aspects of periodontal disease and treatment.
Dr. Basarab is a specialist in periodontics, which comprises all forms of gum-related conditions such as gingivitis, periodontitis, and gingival recession. He also offers the surgical placement and maintenance of dental implants.
Dr. Basarab graduated with his D.D.S. from the University of Alberta in 1991. He received his MS in Periodontology from the University of Michigan in 1997.
He has been practicing periodontics for over 25 years and will be (as of July 1/22) the President Elect of the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta.
